The cottages are set in a quiet valley near the historic fortified town
of MONTREUIL-SUR-MER, under an hours drive south of Calais.
The location offers an ideal base to explore this very pretty region of
France.
Just a short drive away are the endless sandy beaches of the Côte d’Opale
with sophisticated resorts such as LE TOUQUET with its many restaurants
and superb shopping.
Golfers will enjoy one of the nine courses in the area. Walkers and cyclists
will love the green unspoilt countryside and open roads (dry storage available
for bikes, on request).
For a great day out visit the family amusement park of Bagatelle at Merlimont.
The battlefields of the Somme, Azincourt and Crecy are easily accessible.
Paris is easily reachable for a cultural day out or to visit Disneyland.
Shops and supermarkets 8km, café/bar in the village, restaurants 5km,
sandy beach 25km.
You can, of course relax and enjoy al fresco dining in the large gardens, shaded
